I think he's just another overhyped prospect that got a lot of love just because he was young. Pitchers tend to improve less than hitters. He's had problems developing a breaking ball and his numbers in AAA suck.

In 145 innings in AAA in 2011, he posted a 2.55 ERA with a 1.18 WHIP... as a 20 year old. He had a down year last year because of the Braves tinkering with his mechanics.

Arent all young top prospects overhyped until they've proved themselves? Prospects tend to get traded on potential not what they've accomplished. Its always a gamble whether its the #1 overall prospect or some trade filler

I was shocked/disappointed the first time I ever saw Teheran pitch. Maybe it was nerves but his fastball was extremely flat and he couldn't locate anything. That being said he has looked better recently and he's only 21

As a baseball fan in general I would love to see the Upton brothers playing together. They would be a lot of fun to watch.
