How? its San Francisco Bay Area's only team. Three major cities ( San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose ) and whole of Silicon Valley to one team. With Kings going bye bye, they will have the whole Northern California.

Knicks Back on Top as NBA's Most Valuble Team

The New York Knicks have surpassed the Los Angeles Lakers as the most valuable team in the NBA, according to Forbes' annual study.

Boosted by renovations to Madison Square Garden, the Knicks' value increased 41 percent to $1.1 billion. The Lakers were second at $1 billion.

The report released Wednesday estimated the average NBA team's value at $509 million, a 30 percent increase from last year.

The Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks round out the top five.

The Milwaukee Bucks were the least valuable at $312 million. The Nets' value increased 48 percent to $530 million, ranking ninth, after their move from New Jersey to Brooklyn.

This thread is begging for his response though. Obviously nobody cares about the owners possible returns for selling the team. They play in the largest market but have always been disappointments. Essentially the Mets of the NBA, without a Yankees.

Lol Raptors at 21 is that supposed to be a joke?...The Raptors are a cash cow, you can throw any awful product out there and they will average 17,000+ every night...Here's proof- Raptors currently have a record of 16-25 this year and haven't even made the playoffs in 5 or 6 years and they are currently 12th in the league in attendance with over 18,100 fans per gm...They are the worst team with the best attendence
