These kinds of fines aren't anything new.

There are uniform regulations that the players have to follow. They post documentation showing how to dress, and they have "uniform police" that point out to a player if something has to change before the game. If the player doesn't change, that's when action is taken.

This is all on Gore (and really, he should be fined for his pants being too short, but that's another topic). I'm all for these kinds of things - there's a reason there is a uniform. Wear it how it's supposed to be worn.

When I was at school I got sent off in a basketball game for not wearing my jersey tucked in, and then had to write a letter of apology for throwing my jersey in the face of the teacher who was reffing the game and walk off.

They never gave him the letter I wrote him though, and a few months later I stole his shoes and put them in the urinal and pissed on them.

Hope he learned his lesson from that.
