Junior Seau's family suing the NFL

    http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=8872778

The Seau family is suing the NFL & blaming the hits / NFL for his death. Curious on folks thoughts on this topic. Do they have a good case here or are the lawyers just going to get rich ? Thoughts.....

Stupid. The NFL gave Seau more opportunity than he ever would have had.

The NFL is in a precarious position and football as we know it could change dramatically without warning.

    waste of time

    pure money grab

wish the US would prosecute people who file baseless lawsuits, in this country i could sue my next door neighbor because he smells and we would have to waste the courts time for at least 1 hearing

Even if repeated trauma was the cause of his problem, and thats a big leap, the NFL did not knowingly endanger him or force him to do something against his own will.

The only thing suits like these do is cause the NFL to find more ways to protect themselves.

Maybe the NFL will have all players sign a waiver and put in a rule that football is dangerous so the max career is only 5 years. After 5 years they can go find another career.

Maybe he should have spent some of the money he did make in the NFL on sending his family to school ….because they must not be too bright or there’s a lawyer out there that talked them into it.

they are dumb money hungry *****es. They should of told him after his 10th or 13th or maybe his 15th season he should retire instead of playing 19 damn seasons. I bet they didn't care to think about his long term health then but more about what the NFL was paying him. They can go **** themselves and I hope they get a lot of negative publicity from this.
@paulpierce34 I told Wade I will **** his mom like how my man D. West did his mans. Thats why I got ejected

Hope they dont get a penny out of this. This is pathetic. Football players make such ridiculous salaries because of the risk and injuries involved. Cant be suing for every guy who decides to kill himself when you can't 100% justify why they did that.
