I would think we are 3rd to last. I would think the Dolphins would rank higher than us on the do not trade to list. That would be a good question to ask a Jets fan.

The days of trading a Hershel Walker for 8 draft picks and a Super Bowl ring are pretty much over. BTW, thank you Vikings for helping the Cowboys dominate in the 90's. Soon the Rams will be thanking the Redskins for helping them build a contender and the Redskins are going to be back down in the NFC east basement once more.

On a somewhat related note, did anyone see the report stating that the Giants will be almost $10M over the cap this year? Yikes!

Ouch , seriously can we cut Cwebb draft his replacement and have that help or are we doomed? Lol or boley just big contract player declining ..ect..

On a side note the rams I don't believe are that good they are getting better and I always want picks over 1 player unless it likes LT I'm getting him for a whole draft if I have to lol but besides HOFs who you have future reference to knowing how good they are lol only a QB is worth the picks but idk.

I'm torn rams al ost traded their QB... Skins got an injury prone stud QB .. Both teams are 8-8 with potential to be Super Bowl contenders eventually after these picks and rg3 completely develops .

I wish we could cut some guys now or trade for some cap relief I'd give up boley for a 4th , tuck for a 2nd and 4th , Cwebb for a 4th(hard to judge what he's worth bc last year and CBS in this draft) , who ever else ..

So wtf do we do haven't we messed with everyone's contracts already?

I'm pretty sure our last trade was for Sage Rosenfels (when Sorgi went down?) and Reynaud. Right?

Think you're correct , not going to look up details but idk if sprig went down or what and D Rey was for returns and probably just added value . ...wasted trade but protected us and I think we gave up some late pick/s?

Any other trades besides Eli for "rivers" ,kaeding? And lights out Shawne merriman ? (We still drafted so well the next year I know Webster was our 1st pick 2nd round , then tuck then Jacobs (talk about a perfect follow up to hpgetting your franchise QB lol) ..ok after that had to look it up we also drafted Eric Moore missing on him (oh no lol but we missed Trent cole or jay Ratliff who went in the 7th..that's every draft I just think that's insane how well we did and just saying if Moore was Ratliff we'd have an insane draft lol ...any one remember Eric Moore?).

Wow we did great ..oh also we traded for kiwi with the steelers ( moved back picks from 20s? To 32 idr what we got in return but bad draft after we grabbed sinorice moss and eventually GerrisWilkerson )

Actually for a team that doesn't trade a lot we really do just for a player we must get (Eli) , move back due to lack of players or expected falls or for depth and potential (back up QB and a KR/pr ).

So we've made a decent amount of trades but our biggest were with Ernie not jr (I'm charge I know jr was here home grown ect ect ) .

So some sites have us grabbing Ilb Kevin minter now ..others have him projected into the 2nd and some 1st to the texans at 27.

Anyone like that pick? Would you consider a draft and cut like I've said draft a 1st round best prospect we can at one of our needed positions who can also play right now or looks ready enough for us to not notice much with a vet back up helping or something ...and cut the starter. Say grab olb green/Olgetree. Or who ever (example) and cut sayyyyy boley?

Or x Rhodes falls to us and we cut cwebb(I think he stays for depth and being a vet plus a shot to redeem himself here ect).

    Just an idea ..

Speaking of trade we could trade back say x Rhodes . Olgetree, whoever you believe we'd grab at 19 is gone we could try and have a swap with the broncos they need db and DT or Seahawks as they are pretty solid (I'm unsure of true need but I'm sure they have one big one after f/a) or colts. As they all could want wrs or DBS and want to leap frog whoever. ..we move back and lose out on nothing as our need and bpa can't be fulfilled value wise at that point ..

Move down grab the honey badger later and green olb /trufant CB/ Lattimore HB. All later .

the more I hear of Ogletree, the less I'm intrigued by him..at this point, I'd take Te'o over Ogletree due to Te'o's consistency, but I think Herzlich deserves one more full season to develop behind Chase Blackburn before JR pulls a trigger on a MLB IMO, the players I REALLY want to see JR pull the trigger on is Richardson or Rhodes....even if we don't get Rhodes, Logan ryan & the Honey Badger would be 2 great corners for the giants to take....I think that would be an interesting thing to see JR do, take two corners in the same draft year, but I'm just pondering about it...would be nice to take the same road the Packs did last year with the exception of the Giants using a pick on an O-lineman and another one on Lattimore...oh well, if the giants draft two corners in this draft, then I'll be satisfied

Herz is a perfect replacement for chase pure heart full effort guy we can rely on but idt he can stay a starter as for Ogletree , there's k green , Moore and maybe a later round guy whose like boley in Gooden and a kiwi type in Trevardo Williams. But all are outside (boleys days are numbered) . Oh and Ogletree may fall hopefully like MM did whe we drafted him due to off field substance abuse problems ...(him and the honey badger shouldn't hang out appearantly lol)

Ilb there's Rey ma in FA , Teo , Kevin minter and Jon Bostic (has that leadership quality) .

As for 2 CBS I don't see why not ..all our CBS have injury history , rookies get cheap contracts , boost competition, Cwebb needs rest and can mentor , prince gets hurt , hosleys a smaller nickel/dime specialist CB , the rookies could develop at the same time .

    Lattimore would be awesome .

Rhodes would be great , what if Alec Ogletree fell? Say second .. Or if we jumped up and got Jarvis Jenkins? (I never thought hard on this but it's a small possibility). Would u like that?

Say we jumped up and still got the honey badger , jj olb , Lattimore and used FA to get depth (idk what picks we'd have left after seeing the skins trade ..account that was for a QB , jj could fall ..ect ect ) .

How the **** are the Giants always over the cap limit every F'n Year? I mean the unnecessary signings that Reese makes are undeniably ridiculous man, some players like Canty are overpaid for their values, the guy can't play the run well enough, and that signing cost us Coefield....which I'm still holding a grudge on, and I just hope that Webster rebounds from 2012...what an ugly year to be a Giants fan, shoot.

There are teams who have a few marquee vets with big contracts and then there are teams like us who have spent a lot on all positions (although a little light on the oline currently). Webster, Rolle, Boley, Kiwi, Osi, Tuck, Canty, ELI, Bradshaw.....lots of big money.

And then when push comes to shove instead of cutting guys they restructure them which means play now, pay later and right now there's a lot catching up on them.

Reese is good with getting players, but it seems he isn't good with distributing the money justly.....I thought restructuring deals with players like Webster and Canty would be the ideal way to go, but you make the "play now and pay later" theory sound bad....what do you think the outcome will be G?
