I could not find what The Seattle Seahawks' salary cap situation is; but I would guess they are over The Salary Cap.
I could be wrong but i think we actually have 18M to spend but i know we aren't over.

We actually had this conversation in the Seahawk forum and the trade ideas weren't ridiculous.

Better to start at the bottom and work your way up the charts than the other way round. It's a team thing as well. Places where there were dual quarterback situations, San Fran, Philly, K.C., Jax, Tenn. etc., both QBs were usually in the same range in terms of passer rating. There were three in Arizona and they all ended up with similar ratings. Even Cousins when he replaced Griffin had a similar rating. Gabbert's was better than Henne's at least. Last year his was better than McCown's.

so what does that mean? Their backup is worse then the others?

dont mind alpha as he loves riding blaine

as far as Gabbert being Better than henne thats freaking Hilarious. Passer rating isnt the end of all to judge a qb. Chad henne averaged more yards passing per game, more yards per attempt and More TDs all without the Added benefit of a Good Running back. Gabbert was Last in Yards Per attempt and in less games started Henne had 2000 yards.

No genius, it means that Gabbert had the best passer rating on his team. Which Camelhead Kaepernick and Farmer Jake Locker probably can't claim.

'A' for effort, but that joke was dumb.

I think we can get a 3rd rounder. Depends how desperate teams get, but I see no reason to cut him, unless we desperately need the cap space.

What if Wilson goes down with a injury? I hope it never happens but mobile QB's are bound to miss some games eventually.
His price is no where near reasonable for a back up QB. He is making like 5x more then your starter.

Chiefs need to jump all over this. Flynn ran a similar system in GB. Then draft Joeckel to protect him.
