    Nino seeking a trade

#Isles Nino Niederreiter's camp is seeking a trade from the Islanders, a source tells ESPNNY. Unhappy with current situation

Rookie needs to be quiet. He had 1 point in 51 games last year. Rookies have this sense of entitlement right now, work up to get that spot instead of complaining about it.

But if he would be traded, who do you think would have interest? I'd like to see the Pens offer something like Maatta for Nino, but idk if the Isles would do that.

My guess is because the Isles are the worst run organization in the league.

I think just about any team would take Nino but Snow is going to want a teams #1 prospect and/or a pick

I remember saying at draft day, he'd be a bust. I'm sticking to it.

^^ i dont think he will be a bust just complete mismanagement of the player, change of scenery and he should be fine, not the same potential 1st line guy everyone had penciled him into but an average 2nd line guy imo

He's nowhere near a bust. He's only 20 and is excelling in the AHL.

He sucked last year but he has high pedigree for a reason and he's showing it in the AHL this year

Tough to think he'll be a bust

This situation has zero similarity to Turris's.

Neither does anyone, especially when crappy NHLers, perennial AHLers and crappy waiver wire pickups got the head nod over him like Aucoin, McDonald, Reasoner, Boulton, etc. Guys like Matt Donovan and Aaron Ness werent invited either but guys liek Brian Strait and Joe Finley and Thomas Hickey were... BS

No? He had a bad NHL season last year cause he got little ice time and his only ice time was with reasoner and Pandolfo probably the 2 worst forwards in the NHL last year. We rushed him, he was 19, and gave him nothing he needed to succeed. Due to the lockout we could send him to the AHL without the risk of really hurting his confidence or anything, but after 19 goals in 39 games, especially when he's a 20 year old first season AHLer, is nuts, and he wasnt invited to camp?? BS.

AHL means squat. I had a feeling from the moment he was drafting he'd be a bust, and I'm not going to take it back until he achieves something in the NHL. Idc who you play with, if you're a top pick like that, you should be able to do stuff alone. Kmo, worse two players in the NHL. Okay.
