I read somewhere that when he returns, his minutes wont matter. Does anyone know if thats accurate?

Maybe in theory that's correct. But I'm 99.9% sure he's not going to get 30-40 minutes his first few games at least. They'll ease him in like they've been doing this whole time. I could even see them not completely letting him loose until playoffs, even if he looks 100% before then.

This is more on his timing and synchronization with the rest of team. A month of these practices and he would be unleashed.

Hey guys I have seen several bulls fans in the Knicks forum asking about shumpert so what they know to expect with Rose.

He has started both games
In his first game he was on a 15 minute limit and the second game on a 20 min limit.
He has not looked scared at all to test his knee out
In the first game he went up for a big dunk in traffic but was stuffed
It does not appear he lost any explosiveness at all
He has also said he has not experiences any soreness after games

Overall, he appears to be the same player and I hope it's the same case for Rose.

Regardless, i remember it, so I can expect the same when Rose comes back.

I can see him starting and playing in stretches then finishing the game.

25-30 mins is my guess.

D.Rose coming back is more on the team. Thibs don't want to disrupt what they are doing now. His most likely find a way to incorporate D.Rose in the system.

We can all expect D.Rose to start on games with Kirk as sixth man. Bulls is going to use three PG rotation, as Nate and D.Rose becomes a one-two scoring punch in PG position.

I would like to throw in the convo of Rip being traded. Once D.Rose gets acclimated, I see Hinrich playing some SG with Nate being the back-up PG. That would clog the back court for the bulls with the Cook acquisition.
