I have never heard Cashman even mention Mustelier's name.....if he is not a very high draft pick he is not getting consideration from the Yankees...if some of the better prospects never even get a cup of coffee how is Mustelier's going to ever get one?

Quit wasting your time with this guy....he may be a viable player but it is not happening in NY.....

    Your a moron.

There's a few names I can think of that you've never heard of before they hit the major league roster.

    1. Ivan Nova
    2. David Robertson
    3. Brett Gardner
    4. Eduardo Nunez

Oh and go look up his stats, he has put up solid numbers since defecting from Cuba 3 years ago.

I was not discrediting him, I just go by history of the Yankees....and with position players they usually go with a veteran.....If Ronnie was that good enough for Cashman then he never inks Ichy for 2 years.

And personally I want the minor leaguer to get a shot.......I just have no more patience with the way they develop their prospects and then when somebody looks like they deserve a shot they trade or sign a 36 yr old......

And after looking at his stats Cashman should have rolled the dice with Ronnie...his career minor league numbers basically equal to a full season and 150 Games he has hit .324 18 96

    How are his defensive ratings?

You're all morons for not being able to use proper grammar. It's "you're" as in, you are. Not your.

    Grammar nazi, ahoy!

Juan Rivera to #Yankees on minor-league deal, source confirms. Will compete with Diaz, Canzler to be RH bat off bench. @ESPNNYYankees first.

They have enough of these RH OF guys to compete where you would think one would be serviceable as a bench guy.

Still need a DH though and I have no idea where they are getting that from.

I've decided to be the DH for league minimum.

Leo my agent worked out a contract for me with the Yankees.

Well, at this point I think we have to assume that 2 of the group of Mesa, Johnson, Canzler, Diaz, Rivera, and Mustelier will make up the RHed bat off the bench and DH.

Looks like it will be a competition between Canzler, Diaz, and Rivera.

    ****...

Michael Kay just signed a new multi year contract to continue broadcasting 125 games per year for the New York Yankees.

    I hate his broadcasting style.
