Not if we let Douglas return. If we don't want to risk Douglas getting injured [For whatever idiotic reason] then Rodgers has a shot.

Would either of you guys use a draft pick on a returner? Or are you OK with letting Douglas do it full time next season and just hope he stays healthy? (Or all of the above?)

I think Douglas should do punts, but I wouldn't be upset if we drafted one. We've seen what returners can do and ours can't do those things. 'Quizz is a safe returner who will get past the 20 when he does return it but he won't score TD's. Douglas is a pretty solid guy who can break some good sized returns but he is not a gamebreaker.

I would definitely be willing to spend a 4th or 5th rounder on a good returner. The value of one seems to be understated but 4-5 extra yards on average on every drive is pretty damn huge IMO.

The only way i would draft a returner is if he has added dimensions in the run/receiving game.

    What about a 5th corner?

If that corner has alot of potential, yeah. Realistically though, i think we really need some taller CBs. If we can have a big corner that can return, then yes but that sounds like a early draft pick by the sound of it. Not many big returners.

Falcons signed CB Terrence Johnson to a reserve/future contract.

Johnson has appeared in 12 career games with the Colts and Falcons over the last two seasons. He'll be 27 years old at the start of next season, and his only value will be on special teams if he makes the team.

I've seen some reports/speculation about us maybe trying to grab a return specialist in the later rounds. One pointed out the value a good 4th wr that we could sneak in every once in a while along with return duties. I also like having a 4th or 5th corner that can do it. Owens will most likely be gone. Franks may be out the door too if we get a return guy. We already cut him once earlier, and he has been disappointing.
