GABP has so many cheesy features.

It's a nice place to watch a game. But goddamn, some of the things they have or do make me shake my head. The smoke stacks are terribly dumb. And they look like **** currently. If you're gonna have a stupid feature, make sure they don't get rusty.

Haven't been there. I'm sure it's a nice place. It's just not visually appealing on TV and doesn't look good to me compared to other new parks.

The smokestacks are there because steamboats were common on the Ohio River in the nineteenth century. and the stadium faces the ohio river. If you sit behind home base you can see the river and Kentucky. Personally, my favorite place to sit in the stadium is anywhere behind the Reds dugout.

but as someone who lives in Cincinnati, I am very excited. I plan on trying to get tickets as long as I have the money then. anything can happen between now and 2015. and If I can't get tickets, I'm sure the city will have baseball stuff going on all week. but we have a casino about to open, the Banks project (a lot of restaurants and bars opening between GABP and Paul Brown Stadium) and now the All Star game.

Yeah, I understand that. It doesn't make them any less ugly and pointless to me.

Cincinnati is a pretty cool city these days. I go there about twice a month and usually have a good time.

Ridiculous. The Reds will have been the NINTH team to have hosted the game TWICE, since the last time the Dodgers did in 1980. After the Mets host this year, the Dodgers will have gone the longest without having hosted one.

1980 was three years before I was born. It's ridiculous that I'm this old (29) and have never seen my team host the game before.

Well the Mets only got it because of Citi Field.

Might take the Dodgers finding a new home first before they get another ASG too.

I'm going to this ****. I missed out on St. Louis and KC. I live in southern IL, but I live closer to Cincy than Chicago. I went to a Tigers game in Cincy last year and had a good time. Got to drink some Yuengling, and watch JV pitch. Nice park, it's no Comerica but it was decent.

Well Dodger Stadium, at this point, is kind of a **** hole. Massive renovations will need to take place before it can host again.
