I doubt any WR playing currently that's nearing retirement (within 5 or so years) will be a first ballot. TO and Moss have amazing resumes, but TO has the reputation of being a cancer and Moss has a reputation of giving up.

Whoever mentioned Steve Smith, I truly appreciate the acknowledgement to one of my favorite players of all time, but if Smitty makes it in the HOF at all, I'll be extremely happy. Not that he's not an amazing talent, but he played with sub-par QBs for all of his best years and unless they win a SB within two-ish years, he won't have a ring to his resume.

    65.6 Comp. % (3rd All Time)
94.3 Career Passer Rating (7th All Time)
Well, it's saying 1st ballot, and I'm not sure that Brees is a first ballot QB. He's got the yards, and tons of records, but anyone who watched Brees can see where he pads stats, plus only having 1 SB isn't helping his case.

    First Ballot:
    Tom Brady
    Peyton Manning
    Ray Lewis
    Drew Brees
    Randy Moss
    Ed Reed
    Charles Woodson
    Tony Gonzalez

For sure, but not first ballot, yet:
    Steve Hutchinson
    Matt Birk
Jason Witten (Could be 1st ballot)
    Champ Bailey
Larry Fitzgerald (Could be 1st ballot)
Jared Allen (Could be 1st ballot)
    Kevin Williams
    Brian Urlacher
    Lance Briggs
Julius Peppers (Could be 1st ballot)
Adrian Peterson (Could be 1st ballot)
Andre Johnson (Could be 1st ballot)
DeMarcus Ware (Could be 1st ballot)
    Richard Seymour
    Jeff Saturday

Possible, but will take some time:
Wes Welker (needs two more good seasons and I think he's in)
    Reggie Wayne
    Dwight Freeney
Calvin Johnson (Few more good seasons)
Aaron Rodgers (Few more good seasons)
    Steve Smith (CAR)
    Nick Mangold
Eli Manning (Few more good seasons)
Patrick Willis (Few more good seasons)
    Steven Jackson
Vince Wilfork (Few more good seasons, could be first ballot)
    Frank Gore

Can't believe no one has mentioned Blaine Gabbert yet. He's an obvious lock.
    On Cam Newton:

The HOF is supposed to the Greatest Players of All-Time.

It's so cheapened that fans just want any Pro-bowlers inducted.

    Locks

    Probably
    -Hutchinson
    -Reed
    -Moss
    -Gonzalez

    Maybe
    -Peppers
    -Brees

    A Chance
    -Bailey
    -Woodson

I may have missed someone. Also, I noticed that this era is thin at O-line and D-line. Thin at running back as well. Ed Reed probably moves up to lock if the Ravens win the super bowl. Same with Randy Moss.
The media will not allow randy moss to be a first ballot hall of famer

I don't think anyone will. Not because of who he is, but because they apparently hate receivers.
