Good to see the new guys getting a shot...Franson is going to lose his mind if he is a healthy scratch this early in the season

Yup Gardiner says he is 100 per cent healthy. So that means he's got to send someone down...
I am more interested to watch Holzer then Fraser simply because I think Holzer has a shot to be a reliable, every day D man for us. Fraser is just depth.

I think Fraser gets sent down unless they have to send two down. Then Holzer as well. But either way all the best. With Gardiner back likely for next game, I guess Kostka stays?

    Kostka - Phaneuf

    Liles - Gardiner

    Franson - Komisarek

    Extra: Gunnarsson?

Franson deserves to stay IMO. Big physical guy to go along with Liles/Komi is a good pairing.

As for the game, hoping for a good one!

I've seen Frason throw the odd hit but one knock scouts and coaches had/have on him is the fact that he's not physical enough for a guy that size. Not even close. No idea where him being physcial came from. I'm sure he was thrilled about the healthy scratch tonight too after the whining he did at the start of last year. Nothing's given, you have to take it. He needs to learn that.

I think you'll see Gunnar paired with Gardnier and Komi and Liles together with Franson being the 7th man

I don't feel all that much sympathy for Franson. You wanna play? prove it. Go out and force the coaches not to take you out of the lineup. Throw some hits and block some shots, you're 6'5 220 lbs.

Well they played at 12:30 PM in the afternoon yesterday and not at night, but your point stands.
