Source: Phil Jackson 'Lock' To Become Management Face Of Seattle-Bound Kings

Phil Jackson is "almost [a] living lock" to become the front office face of the Seattle-bound Sacramento Kings, according to a source.

While Jackson won't coach, he will mentor the franchise's coach following the move to Seattle.

wow, sounds insane but I still don't buy it. He is about to be married to Jeannie Buss who owns the Lakers. Eventually, phil will have a major position with the Lakers.

Deal to Seattle is far to being done, the league is going to wait for Sacramento to make a counter offer to make a decision

    This.

It would be a great start to have someone as accomplished and knowledgeable as Phil at the helm but I really find it hard to believe he is leaving Jeanie at this stage of his life.

Hmmm interesting don't know if this Phil Jackson being with the team is true but i heard here on the radio that Hansen has been writing down names for the front office ever since he announced the Arena deal.

Vecsey wrote that Jackson would not coach but would “mentor’’ the team’s coach. Jackson’s son Charlie and Hansen are reported to be close friends.

Heres the connection but it sounds kind of speculative.
