    Jets hire David Lee

    David Lee has been hired as Jets QB coach. League source.

    So to sum up, the Jets have hired a cap guru GM with little player evaluation experience when they had indicated they (smartly) wanted a personnel guy, they hired an OC whose offense had just been extremely unsuccessful last year, and they now hired a QB coach whose QB's didn't improve last year in Buffalo, whose QB's were pathetic last year at Ole Miss, and who failed to get any progress out of Chad Henne, Pat White, or anyone else in Miami.


    What could possibly go wrong?

    Ole Miss's QB's were insanely bad in 2011. He did a terrible job as the Bills OC last year, refusing to give CJ Spiller the ball; more importantly, Fitzpatrick was horrendous under him, much worse than he was in 2011.


    Lee smartly found a way Darren McFadden and Felix Jones on the field at the same time with the Wildhog, and then brought that to the NFL with the Dolphins, where it became the Wildcat. Outside of that, I can't find a time in his career that he's been successful.

    Rex is out after next season anyway. The new GM will want his own guy and no way Rex wins enough next season for woody to go against his GM. All these guys are "one and done". Why would anyone that is a good coach want to take that job. I am sure that is he best hey can do.
