Injury prone I'll give you, but horrible contract? A big man capable of scoring 20 points a game will make $10 mil this year. That isn't overpaid.

it is under the new cba with the impending repeater tax...

he wouldn't be paid $8 million a year if signed now...

again, his stats are irrelevant because he put them up on Toronto... he isn't a third option on a contender even if healthy... not to mention that he is a bad defender.

Trade him to someone with an amnesty clause. Simply take on a bigger contract so that team can pay a guy less for amnestying them.

Lowry will stay, teams want Calderon because his contract is up this year. Maybe a trade to Atlanta? I mean, Lou williams is done for the year and J smoove isnt happy.

If the Amare situation in NY doesn't work out, I would do Amare for Bargs & Fields.

People are trashing Bargs way too much, for a long while alot of people said he was better than Gallo.

    Yes it is.

    Hypothetical scenario.

Lakers trade Pau Gasol for Barganani. They amnesty Barg and they pay 9 million less for someone not playing.

This trade won't happen, but a scenario certainly can happen like that.

no it can't, you can only amnesty a player that was already on your roster and signed when the new CBA was made.

there are very few teams or players that are even "amestiable" anymore.

I don't know that they can get value back for him. Most likely situation is a bad contract for a bad contract.
