Game Thread- Nets ( 24-16) vs Knicks ( 25-13): Time to shut Sir Charles mouth!

Melo was tired.

Of all the numerous games that this guy has choked in, or gave a half-hearted effort in, has there ever been a single one where you all don't have a ready made excuse for him?

Sucked in the 1st, 0-6 in the 4th, misses the key shot late... don't blame him for anything?

Missed that little extra firepower without Felton, and Iman being limited wasn't great either.

But most of all Melo just didn't make it happen in the 4th. Next thing is the fact that the Nets (who aren't great from 3) were lights out there today.

Next 2 are must wins though. This one kinda was too.

That was a TERRIBLE game... Bricks after brick & not trying to hustle for balls and get rebounds

Defense was good but damn Joe Johnson, Lopez, & Humphries outplayed our entire team

One thing I do not like about our defense is the DOUBLE TEAM? Why double? It leaves others wide open for an easy bucket.... We got burned on the screens today as well.. and Johnson had a great game... And that was it..

Yea its division record.

We play defense to not foul to start games and it kills us. Late in the 4th seems like the only time we play D because fouling out no longer becomes a worry. Melo moved the ball great but we are still doing way too much iso's. I do think its mostly a product of Melo and JR having to play PG in the half court because Kidd can't collapse a defense.

JR killed us, couldn't get around a screen to save his life against Johnson in huge momentum shifting points of the game.
