Honestly anyone from this group should be considered a serious contender (no order): Syracuse, Louisville, Kansas, Duke, IU, Michigan, Arizona, Gonzaga, and Butler. No clear cut leader IMO. Just a lot of elite teams.

^ Agreed.
I think Kansas is a step up. If I need to pick a 1A, it's them.
But I drop Louisville a bit after losing 2 in a row. Siva is lost and they won't be winning anything until he can perform like an above-average PG.
Lot of losing in the top 10. Only 3 Kansas, 8 Florida, and 10 Gonzaga went unbeaten this week with both 2 Michigan (plays @Ill) and 7 Indiana (plays MSU) looking for a chance to join them and move up.
Not buying UCLA.
My apologies for leaving Florida out. Don't know how they slipped off my mind. New AP Top 10
1. Michigan
2. Kansas
3. Indiana
4. Florida
5. Duke
6. Syracuse
7. Gonzaga
8. Arizona
9. Butler
10. Oregon
Louisville falls out of top 10 to no.12. Anyone think this is too harsh? Just right? Or should have dropped more?

I think it's fair. I expect them to jump back in to the top 10 quickly though.
Florida is the quietest number 4 ever. I had no idea they were top 5 worthy.
And...here...we...go...
I think we're flying under the radar because the SEC is a horrible conference this year. Kentucky and Vanderbilt are way down and Tennessee hasn't fully recovered from the Bruce Pearl episode a couple of years ago yet. Missouri hasn't as good as expected either.
We're only technically in the top five now because teams ahead of us lost, but Florida is a top five caliber team.
Aaaaaand NC State goes down again

I'd have to look closely at what the records and resumes of the teams ranked behind them are, but at first glance I can't figure how Butler is still ranked in the top ten after losing to La Salle.

That's how bad the SEC is. I'm legitimately concerned we'll be the Florida State of basketball this year and struggle when we have to play good teams in the tournament.
Butler down 14 on the road to St. Louis, 15 left to go in the 2nd half. If they manage to lose this one, then I echo the sentiments of Catfish from earlier. No way they should be top 15.
