Message under avatar

I see some users have been able to edit the message under the avatar from the one generated by post count (eg Recruit) to their own message, such as PSD's Dalai Lama. How do I go about doing this?

There should be a section titled "Custom User Title" and in that field you have an option to reset yours or type a new message in there. However, I believe that it is limited to a certain number of characters. Then go to the bottom of the page and select "Save Changes".

There may be a post limit that you must reach before being able to edit that though.

There may be a similar limit as those for signatures (100 posts). But I never tried to edit mine until I was well passed 100 posts.

Funny, I wasn't sure if there was a minimum number of posts either.

I ran a test. I cut my post count down to five and I was still able to change my custom user title.
