I don't like what i'm seeing from the Caps so far, but lets not forget the Caps only had 6 days to prepare.

Yeah but the Caps have to deal with a new coach, and go from an defense to an offensive system.

Leafs win 2-1 over the Canadiens.

First Star : Scrivens (TOR goalie)
    Second Star : Kadri
    Third Star : Gionta

They started Scrivens because he's been playing in the AHL (very well the last year or so) and wanted to have the "game ready" Scrivens in the net. Overall he looked good, a little nervous but that's expected for his first start in the Bell centre. He had a shutout until the last 6 mins or so, MTL PP goal.

And yea you guys will destroy them, we had some big checks on them tonight.

Rangers have so much talent but its a team game and the Bruins were the better team tonight.

Gally had his moments, not really noticeable overall IMO.

Habs started really slow and took bad penalties, and had an awful time trying to get into our zone (our D played surprisingly well, even Komisarek lol). They nearly saved themselves when they picked up the pace in the last 10 minutes (aided by terrible leaf penalties). Their PP was awful as well, i'm actually surprised they scored it really looked like they were trying to suck.

Price was pretty solid. He had no chance on the Kadri goal, that play was all skill by Kadri. Bozak's goal was basically an open net. If not for price the Leafs may have had 3 or 4 goals. He looked in mid-season form
