Remember, STL had the 2nd overall pick last year and WAS sent them THREE 1st round picks + a 2nd round pick to move up 4 places to get RGIII. All there needs to be is a player at #5 that is coveted by STL and multiple teams for this to seem like DET should get more in return. Even the Julio Jones trade by ATL was grossly overpaid for. We won't really get a good gage in how much "hype" some of these players get until after the combine in Feb.
STL also has multiple 1st round picks in the 2014 draft as well, so it isn't like this is a rare occaison for them. They probably plan to trade back up one of these drafts to grab an impact/top #10 player.
I think we at least agree on one thing......STL having picks #16 & #22 sounds a lot more desirable than where we sit at #5. There is some good talent available at #5, but I don't think any of us are "jumping up and down" about any player that we could possibly take at #5.
