well, they have the right idea. If you want to win a championship within the next 5-6 years, you need one of two players....................Durant or Lebron

Here's a crazy trade lol
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=bzrbece
No GM in their right mind outside of perhaps DAL and NJ would trade for Dwight at this point. With the Lakers schadenfreude in full effect, teams with cap are licking their chops at the opportunity to bid for him when he tests the market this off-season. And yes, there is nothing stopping him from doing so.
Alternatively, the Lakers should have no business trying to trade Dwight at the moment, either. They are better off keeping his max salary off the books and trying their chances in 2014 than accepting the inevitable Brook Lopez/Dirk Nowitski + picks package deal that will stress their cap in the long run.

I'm nuts? Have you checked the standings lately? Have you checked our payroll lately? Have you seen Howard's free throw attempts lately?
I could go on and on. I like Howard and if they can do something to make it work.......great! But Howard has a fragile heart and he'll walk at the end of the season if his feelings are hurt.
Send him to Cleveland for Waiters and a shitload of picks. We'd be better off in the longrun.
