Very interesting to see what happens with the QB position.

There is no QB on the roster that I think can effectively run a WCO.

It's nice to finally evolve with the league though. It's becoming a passing league and the Jets were a little behind on that. Dont want to abandon the run, but it'll be nice to actually throw the ball.
    Go Knicks!

Kindve makes since, the jets have one of the worse starting rbs in the league, but the same can be said for their qbs

i think he's a terrible fit, he's about 60 pass - 40 run an thats being generous, i mean either he has to change is scheme or jets have to get a top wr an a above average qb

Eagles fans lol. Guy brought you a lot of success. If it wasn't for Vick he would probably still have a job. Not going to say that it is already a great move, but I personally like the signing as a Jet fan. We need to move into another direction as a team and Mornhinweg has had success:

2012 season- Eagles offense was 15th total yards
2011 season- Eagles offense was 4th in total yards.
2010 season- Eagles offense was 2nd in total yards.
2009 season- Eagles offense was 11th in total yards.
2008 season- Eagles offense was 9th in yards.
2007 season- Eagles offense was 6th in total yards.
2006 season- Eagles offense was 2nd in total yards.

Those are good #s. He has had some talent over the years, but he has made the best use of it.

People act like Marty was the first or the last Eagles OC who passed a lot. Andy Reid preached the pass. There's a reason he passed on 70% of his downs through his career and not just the last few seasons with Marty as the OC.

Brad Childress ran AP into the ground a few years in Minnesota despite him passing all the time with Philadelphia. His team lead the league in rushing in 2007, was top 5 in 2008, and was a top 10 rushing team in the NFL three times. Yes, AP is a special talent, but just because an OC was under Andy Reid doesn't mean they didn't know that running existed.

I'd expect a more balanced WCO in NY than we saw in Philly....

you're kidding yourself if you you make that prediction now. That remains to be seen what the Jets do this offseason. If they draft or trade for a real QB, then I agree Sanchez is shark bait.

But.........if Sanchez is still the QB? Let me tell you a likely scenario. All Sanchez has to do is improve. And how can he not, since coming into the league he's been either the, or one of the, lowest ranked qbs year after year. If he can move from 32 to say 25 in qb rankings, Jets fans and the FO will once again be blaming Schottenheimer,et al. For not developing him, and the Jets will be saddled with the albatross that is Mark Suckchez for the next decade.
