    Colts hire Pep Hamilton (Stanford's OC) as new OC

    Not sure if he's jumping the gun or if his sources actually confirmed the news, but I think we should all be happy about this.

    Hats off to Grigson and Pagano for getting Hamilton inked quickly after Arians left. Viewed as a very strong hire.

    Every Indy Writer I follow on twitter seems to be following suit. I guess Pep also interviewed for the Oregon HC job.

    I think he was the best option on the board....we have a fresh face as a coach and now one as our OC. Just worried he will be a hot name when Luck continues to grow...how long will he be here before getting HC offers either in the NFL or big college programs?

    That would be true for almost any OC we would have hired, except Tom Moore.

    I was thinking the same thing. For what was out there I think they did an great job at getting the next OC. I am thrilled with the hire.
