I have no idea how this game will play out. I'm hoping for a win but am reluctant to be confident. In terms of the poll qestion, Ed Davis is talented enough to be a keeper, the only thing that sticks out to me is his contract status. Ed needs to be re-signed by next halloween. I do think that a rotation of Valanciunas - Ed - Amir is a good one. But I'm worried about the cap status if Ed is re-signed. I'm expecting Ed to get the same contract as Demar.

You think so? I was expecting more consistency out of Ed in the starting role, but it hasn't been there. Also, his rebound numbers are a bit low for the time he plays.

I think it's a good rotation. All of those bigs are high energy and active bigs. Ed + Amir post 18+PER with Val at about 14.5. Add on that none of them are terrible FT shooters and have a high bball IQ. They are all relatively young with only Amir entering his prime. 3 seasons from now that rotation could be a very scary one in the NBA IMO. Waiting for Ed and Val to put on weight...

Ed is still young so the consistency will take time to develop. He hasn't had a lot of experience vs. the top tier PF's in the game just yet so he's still learning the nuances and play styles that makes those players successful against him.

With that said If I had to choose between Ed and Amir I would go with retaining Amir.

I am "undecided". I have concerns with Ed's D and I feel like Amir might be the better option going forward.

I feel like I've seen Greg Monroe playing PG for the Sixers before...

He's a keeper, but I don't know if he's going to be a legit PF for years to come. He can be a very good 1st big man off the bench playing like 28 mins.

Monroe's going to post up Calderon all game. Raptors have no chance.

I wonder if Amir will start tonight instead of Gray. Don't really need Gray against their bigs.

    Worth thinking about?

The first tie-breaker between teams with the same record at the end of the season is the head-to-head record; if Raptors win, the season series will end tied, if they lose, Sixers have first tiebreaker.

NBA brought out a statement admitting to the blown call in Chicago, second time this season...

With one second remaining in the fourth quarter of the Chicago Bulls-Toronto Raptors game on January 16, officials called a foul on Chicago’s Joakim Noah as Toronto’s Amir Johnson gathered the ball while driving to the basket. The officials ruled the foul was on the floor but upon review at the league office, the video replay confirmed that the foul should have been called a shooting foul with Johnson receiving two free throws.
