The kid was unfortunately the worst baseball player I've ever seen in my life, and I was trying my best to limit his ability to hurt the team's fortunes. One day the father came up to me and put his hand on my shoulder and explained to me my options.

I caved and shortly thereafter retired from coaching Little League. I decided quickly that the juice was definitely not worth the squeeze.

I thought I had some dramatic little league coach-parent moments. I had a guy show up drunk to pick up his son, he even threw a swing at me when I refused to let him take his kid. I tried to take the high road and drive them both home, but he was so belligerent that I had no choice but to call the police and have another father drive the boy to his mother so he didn't see his father get cuffed. Your Tony Sapronao story though is hard core.

Just curious, who do you guys think is gonna win the superbowl this year? And by how many points?
I'm picking Flacco and the Ravens by 9pts. There's just no way in hell i could ever find my self rooting for the 49ers! I hope they epicly fail just for acting so cocky in their superbowl interviews lol...

As much as I love the tri-state area, I hate the frequency that some 'types' of people appear.

You can't throw a rock in this state without hitting someone who "knows a guy" -- or is "the guy to know" in the first place. Some of it is absurd bravado, no doubt... sadly, a lot of it is true.

Shockingly, my brush occurred while living in Greenwich, CT. The gentlemen in question had just moved to town with his family. Lol, he was from NJ and had worked in the trash collection industry. They bought a huge house in back country Greenwich, a $5-6M house. It was kind of comical.

As for the Super Bowl....the 49ers are going to win going away. They're the best team and have the best coach.

Firstly, I think John Harbaugh is the better coach.

Secondly, I think the Ravens are going to win the Superbowl. If Baltimore could hold New England to 13 points, it's safe to assume they can hold San Fransisco.

IMO, Baltimore wins by 10+. That's just me.

They will spread the Ravens out with 3 and 4 wrs and run Kap up the middle instead of the "read option" looks they are expecting.The biggest advantage the "running QB" allows is unpredictablility and I would expect a good coach to find a way to leverage that advantage somehow.If they run the typical read option stuff they did against GB, the Ravens will shut it down.
