Bruce Arians hired as Cardinals new HC

    Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet
The #Cardinals have offered their head coaching job to Bruce Arians, I'm told. He is expected to accept.

Hmmm, I'm not exactly sold on this guy. Can someone explain to me why he is the man for the job?

Not like he'll have Luck to win him those games. He'll have the opposite..

If Bill Belichick was one of the joint chiefs of staff in the 70s, we would've won Vietnam 31-14.

Great signing. He is expected to get rid of Horton for Todd Bowles. I expect the Cards to get a QB who can do what Arians loves, get it downfield, and with that WR core, they have a good chance of that. Get some decent O-line and Arizona will be a decent team.

Very interesting given that I heard reports that had the Bears hired him, he would have brought Wisenhunt in as offensive coordinator...

Well Indy didn't have very many pieces and he really coached them up. Arizona has much more talent outside of QB. Get a good QB in there, and they have a good team.

Horton will be getting calls to be a DC the moment he gets let go, of course, that's if he gets let go.

Good to see, he needed to get a HC job after what he did in Indy.

Yeah, he will be. Who needs a 3-4 D Cord right now?

If they get Todd Bowles this is automatically a bad pickup. He was trash for the Eagles.

I hope this means Horton to the Bears.
