Thumbs down Norv Turner Turned Down Raiders

"Raiders McKenzie says he talked to Norv Turner about OC spot early in process, but Norv said he was not interested." This according to Paul Gutierrez.

I have no problem with norv turning us down. I will admit I was hoping he would pick us but he didnt. The one thing that I dont get it is why would he choose the brown over us. Raiders are bad but i strongly bealive we are a better team than the browns. Yea we lost to them this year if i remember correctly but I strongly bealive that if we were playing for something the raiders would have demolished the browns at home. Maybe norv turned us down beacuse allen is in the hot seat. Norv seemed to have a good relationship with allen and some of our players but i guess not. I'm happy to see that reggie and allen are trying to get the best coaches out there but sad to see teams not wanting to work for us.

Norv was our head coach once, I doubt he would be interested in coming back as an OC. Its no surprise, Cleveland offers a new start for him. I wish him well.

Well no **** he turned us down

The best part of this is knowing RM reached out to him. Shows his intelligence as a GM.

Besides his pasty with us which almost speaks for itself that he wont ever be back here. The browns are a very interesting team. They have a good line that is centered around probably the best LT in the game. Plus a very interesting talented young RB who plays more the 6 games a year. His QB he can mold his way. If they get a big time WR this offseason he will be looking pretty good with that group.

Reggie wants to be Al Davis, it`s underway lol. I would think Dennis Allen would hire the offensive coordinator as the head coach. Nobody with good credentials wants to work under Allen, this is becoming more clear by the minute.

Reggie made a bad hire with Dennis Allen, Oakland is marching in the wrong direction and I expect this won`t change in 2013 unless, we witness a huge unexpected departure which is unlikely.
