I tell them to keep putting veggies on until I'm satisfied. I understand why they skimp because it does keep costs down but there is no way they're gonna tell me I can't have the amount of veggies I want on my sub. The ones that don't care or don't take the effort to ask for more are at their own fault if they notice there's not enough of something on their sub. I understand charging extra for meat and cheese. If they start weighing their subs, then I'll quit going there.

Do you also custom order hamburgers at McDonald's? Subway is the McDonald's of sub sandwiches, and expectations for them should be about the same. Pay little, get little, and what you get should always be the same -- predictably sub-par.

no, they ran a counter one telling customers they get more meat for 5 dollars, when in actuallity they get more meat ebcause the sandwich is smaller. its the same amount of meat, just on a smaller sandwich

Haven't been to McDonald's in over 15 years. I have customized burgers at places though. I've never had an issue with customizing any food I've ordered.

Subway was built on being able to customize the basic sub offerings. It's the whole point of them having the line the way they do.
