Tiny Tim Connolly put on Waivers

We obviously tried to trade him. If no one claims him on waivers, he doesn't have too high a value. However, Nonis may swap him for a late pick if he agrees to pay half his salary. Which I am in full favor of because we have to pay for his salary anyway (even if he's on Marlies), so he should at least get a chance to stay in the NHL where he belongs.

Also, they may be wise to keep him on Marlies for call-up purposes if Kadri, Bozak, or Grabovski go down.

Oh no, what a loss to the team But seriously, smart move by Nonis. Komisarek better stay sharp, with Connolly and Lombardi off the roster, he's the last big contract to get rid of (although we'll probably have to wait till the offseason for that one).

Lots of tweets that Kotska and Fraser outplayed Komisarek during camp. Not a shocker.
