The player to watch, as if it's not already obvious, is Nick Castellanos. At least for me.

I want to see Matt T. He used to be a top prospect and plays MIF. I think he could take Santiago's job this year.

I see they have him listed at 1B, and at 6'2" 230 lbs, does he still project to MIF?

Career totals are really bad, but he was young. 70 Ks, 13 BBs in 193 ABs... yikes, even his MiLB strikeout rate is crazy

    Who is Matt T?

I don't see any way Castellanos can play good enough "D" to stick around. He really struggled in the outfield for Erie.

I will be watching Garcia, Holaday, Rondon, Guez, Crosby, Collins, Mercedes and Suarez. My first three names will likely play at some point in 2013. My last five names could be a year or two away.

I am stoked about Eugenio Suarez. This kid can hit, run and play defense and considering our needs at SS, may give Santiago a run for his money. I still think he will not come north for the summer (at least not in the big D), but I do believe he is going to catch some people's attention. Itwould not surprise me though to see the Tigers give him a look to see how he does with Major League pitching beyond the fastballs thrown in ST.

You're not serious about that are you Ahoda? He has played middle infield but although athletic, the guy does not have the range for the major leagues. He is mostly a corner infielder and if kept, at best will spend most of his time in Toledo playing 1st, third and learning the OF. My guess is that if he is ever called up to Detroit it will be to play OF, DH if Martinez gets hurt or maybe some 3B if Miggy gets hurt.....He has a sweet stroke though. Personally, I think Suarez gives Santiago a run for his money this year, but the Tigers will keep the sure handed Santiago. I just feel that Suarez is a far better hitter than Santiago.

I want to see what the kid has. Santiago isn't very good at anything anymore and I really don't want him on our 25 man roster anymore.

But who will go to for a clutch bunt directly to the pitcher?

I'd say Berry but he whiffs on his bunt attempts.
