    Enforcers

I love them. Who do you guys think some of the greatest enforcers of all time are?

As a Wild fan, I have I have never seen anybody electrify the crowd and teammates as much as Derek Boogaard. I have yet to see a better highlight reel from an enforcer than this one...RIP

Not trying to set this thread up as "my enforcer is better than your enforcer," I just want to see some badass hockey players.

Doug Glatt is also a beast.

Boogard was a tank in the last NHL game he was in. Had like 99 strength, balance, fighting, checking, etc. RIP

As a Pens fan, recent guys like Godard and Laraque have been fan favs as well. Laraque for his fighting skill and Godard for coming off the bench and defending Brent Johnson against the Isles

Chris Neil, (probably not among the great fighters or anything, but when he fights he puts up a challenge and if its at home he always pumps up the crowd and team through them)

Not because he's a Bruins player (like him before that) but I love what Shawn Thornton does as an enforcer.

The "Bruise Brothers" - Probert and Kocur. Both of these were really tough guys. Kocur was probably the hardest hitting enforcer in hockey. He broke the helmets on players numerous times with his fists.

    Waste of roster spots.

There's a reason they don't play in the playoffs

    Then there not really enforcers.

There players who can fight and are tough.

The guys listed though except your example of Neil are like this.

Maybe, but I can certainly tell you I wish the Wings had had Kocur or Probert on the team when Weber pulled that WWF move on Zetterberg last year.
