I am not sure what to think about this. I like Jaso, but now we have 3 catchers, and I thought Cole was worth more.

Jaso is insane. Love this trade. Cole was a good spect but expendable. Kontras is gone in my opinion

I know he is really good obp and had a crazy wRC+, but e is also a platooner. As of now we don't have the other half for that. In addition I am curious/worried about the player to be named later.

If Jaso can come close to repeating last season, he's like a better version of Kottaras without the strikeouts. He smoked the ball last season.

Same here...

But after reading all the articles, comments, etc.. I'm okay with the trade. Now we nearly have platoons at every position. I still feel though that we could/should have gotten more than a platoon catcher for our supposedly #1 pitching prospect.
