If we play a 3-4 who do you guys think will remain in the starting lineup?

I'm not gonna touch this. I'd just say Cox would do well as a 3-4 DE too, and Graham would be at OLB. Nothing else seems certain to me.

It would be a complete overhaul....

Demeco Ryans, who I thought was our best defensive player last year, was awful in Houston running the 3-4...

When Cox played our defense looked solid we just need 1 LB and a safety or two and we'll be fine.
Our d-line looked amazing when Graham-Cox-Jenkins-Cole were out there. If Cox stays healthy I think we'll be fine we just need to add some a couple pieces, whereas the 3-4 I think would be a way to complicated of a change.

Looks like we have our LB coach. The guy wasa former college DC as well, but wasn't as good at that, He recruited and developed Luke Keuchley and Mark Herzlich.
Well one things for certain, there will be no NFL experience on Kellys staff.

What do you guys think about Gosder Cherilus? He is the RT for the Lions and is a free agent and the Lions may not bring him back. He was graded Pro Football Focus' No. 2 right tackle in the league in 2012 and he's only 28.

    Jim Herrmann is the answer....

A couple of years ago the Giants did the same thing to us, the interviewed Spags, stole him from us then they won the superbowl!

    thats the missing formula! lol

    Via Rotoworld:

NFL.com's Albert Breer reports that the Eagles plan to stay in the NFL when picking their defensive coordinator.
The Eagles have been linked to just two candidates so far: Giants LBs coach Jim Herrmann and University of Georgia DC Todd Grantham. If this report rings true, we can rule out Grantham. Breer says Chip Kelly and the Eagles prefer a current NFL mind because of the inexperienced college positional coaches Kelly is bringing to the NFL with him.

The Giants LBs have been awful for the last few years, hard to get excited.

No positional coach rejects a coordinator position unless he's been told he won't be hired...

I have a good feeling about this...

Lurie isnt afraid to make a splash...

The fact that herrman " withdrew " himself tells me the eagles are more intrigued by someone else....

@GeoffMosherCSN: Hearing that 49ers DB coach Ed Donatell has surfaced as a potential DC for #Eagles. Obviously, can't happen until after Super Bowl.

He was the DC of the Packers who was fired a day after 4th & 26.

He'd be a good hire. Bucs pursued him last year but SF rejected.

Wonder if Mike Nolan is also on their list?
