Has the Bar been Set for Krejci's Next Deal?

    Pierre LeBrun ‏@Real_ESPNLeBrun
Devils sign Zajac to eight-year deal worth $46 million ($5.75 million average)
Looking at the numbers these two are mirror images of one another. I'm not sure Krejci would get 8yrs but at $5.75 million (with our current situation) I would pass on him. Then again we all know how I feel about David Krejci.

    Zajac - 27yrs old / 58 Goals / 115 Assist / 173 Points

    Krejci - 26yrs old / 53 Goals / 123 Assist / 176 Points
    OneMan's 2015 Off-Season
[ ] Hire Paul Fenton as GM
    [ ] Fire Claude Julian
    [ ] Re-sign Hamilton
    [ ] Re-sign Spooner
    [ ] Re-sign Connolly
    [ ] Trade Chris Kelly
    [ ] Trade Seidenberg
    [ ] Trade Savard's Cap
    [ ] Draft Pavel Zacha

    More to Come....

I DO NOT SUPPORT THE FIRING OF PETER CHIARELLI

Krejci is not worth that imo....i'd trade him for a scoring wing before i gave him that contract, or anything close

Anything bigger than 5.5 is too much for him.

I'm scared to see what Bergy's contract is going to look like.

Not a chance Bergeron goes over 6m and not a chance Krejci gets 8 years from the Bruins. MAYBE Bergeron gets 8.

I see Krejci getting something like 5 years, 28-32m

Sounds about right if they decide to keep him and I guess that depends on if they feel Seguin is a or will be a first line center or if they keep him on the wing.

I'm a mega supporter of the "Seguin to center" squad....I think he would be an amazing center. More time with the pick on his stick, seemingly more space to work. Let the kid be an offensive dynamo.

That being said I am all for trading Krejci for a scoring winger. I would NOT give him that deal, or anything over 5-5.25

    Booba Fett is back baby.
