KD has a shot to be the all time leader. Hes on pace to have 33,000 points by 34. Key for him is staying healthy hope that he can bulk up more.

really the 96-97 season is when he turned 34(in feb), so his 97 stats apply here, not his 1998 stats when he was 35.

    29.6 ppg, 486%, 5.9 rpg, 4.3 apg, 1.7 blk, 2.0 tov

    1996-97 Bulls record 69-13 (MJ age 34)

Kobe will break it if he wants to. I'm not saying he'll dominate and be on contenders while doing it though.

It's going to be tough for Kobe. LeBron and Durant on the other hand has an opportunity to do it.

Currently, LeBron has to score 23 PPG for the next 8 seasons to pass Kareem. Durant has to average 26 PPG for the next 12 or 13 seasons. I think Durant will do it because he's a scorer. He will shoot more and score more than LeBron because LeBron plays every position and does everything. When you're objective is to score, aka Kobe, you'll reach it quicker. However, Kobe's objective is to score and he's still behind LeBron in PPG.

Lebron is 28 I see him playing u fil he's 38. I think after he reaches the age 34 he will take on more of a passing role. Keep in mind durant is only 24 and I can see him playing to 38 as well because he's such a good shooter. Durant will come very close IMO.

kevin durant, when he gets older and slows down all he has to do is beef up and he can be a legitimate post player, dude is what 6'11? i like lebron but hes too much of a facilitator, i do think however bron will easily get 30000 pts and 10,000 assts, i think kobe will be #2 behind KAJ until Durant breaks it

.... Even when Kobe was old, his first 9 years PPG was lower than LeBron. What's your excuse? LeBron isn't going to ballhog the ball like Kobe, that's why he's not surpassing Kareem. Durant is the only player in today's league capable.
