Best $3 million AA ever spent. I'd love to see an interview with Oliver to get a sense of what he was actually thinking.
Happ and Loup can be sent to Buffalo without exposing them to waivers.
Next up....Right Handed DH/PH
Great news! Our bullpen is much, much stronger with him in the fold.

Oliver is gonna be on primetime sports today I believe

Fantastic! Our bullpen is that much stronger, but on OUR terms. Well done AA.
Glad Oliver came to his senses and didn't take his ball and go home.

Of course they could put Loup in AAA, but why would you want them to? Loup had an amazing year in his debut last season and Rogers has never had a good year. The only logic to it is that you would be losing an asset if you choose to DFA Rogers. The major league team would be better with Loup than it would be with Rogers, and I think that matters more.
I think we're going to have to trade one or more of our Relief pitchers, given that Rogers/Cecil are out of options.
I think we'll keep Rogers (seeing what AA gave up from him; essentially Farrell + Gomes), but end up trading Cecil+ for a bench bat/ prospect.
But all in all, great signing, because we needed him back.

Lets win him a World Series! lol

Good job for AA not to bend over.
Loup has options, so I would expect he'll be in AAA to start the season. AA was talking about Happ starting in AAA which makes more sense than him being a long reliever in the pen. The Jays keep both Cecil and Rogers in the pen and don't have to expose either of them to waivers.
Pen should be Jansenn, Santos, Oliver, Delabar, Lincoln, Cecil and Rogers.
