Top Draft Busts for the Oakland Raiders

So who do you guys really think qualify as Raider busts?

I wouldn't put Huff or Gallery on there. There's been way worse players.

If McFadden goes on that list......shouldn't Bo Jackson, too? Their numbers are almost identical up to this point. And injuries have hurt both of their careers.

Almost all those players played for someone like the patriots, there careers most likely would have been positive. What people forget is that you get high draft picks cause your team sucks. It takes a rock solid staff and team structure to be successful. Something we haven't had since Gruden. By the way , Jafatbutt wouldn't make for any team.

Look an NFL team is the easiest of all pro sports to turn around. You have to remember that all these players were college studs and didnt forget how to play football over night. Why do you think most Raider players that go to other teams resurect their career? They just didn't remember how to play football.

Russell and McClain are the only 2 that currently infuriate me, those two dumbo`s get signed in the first round and flop hard. Oakland`s system can`t be blamed for Russell, you didn`t see him surface anywhere else and a become a super star. The only system that failed in Oakland was signing those two players, their agents must of hid them real well lol.

McFadden doesn`t worry me but then again I wouldn`t rush out for an autograph. McClain isn`t worth a mention, this is all he gets from me.

Yeah, I should have put Al Davis #2 behind JaBasketCase.....only he helped us win 3 Super Bowls (about the only thing Raider fans can be proud of nowadays)

Darrell Russell??? Really?! Dude was a stud for a few years. We need to better define the term "bust".

Big difference between a guy taken in the 7th round to be a part time player and a guy taken with the 4th overall pick to be the spearpoint of the offense.

Also, McFadden is injury prone, getting hurt multiple times in multiple places. Jackson's career was ended by a single freak incident.

No comparison whatsoever.

BTW...Darrell Russell, while disappointing, was All-Pro. Twice.

I thought Tyler Brayton was a major disappointment.

Losing Leon Bender really hurt,( not a bust,but you know what I mean)
