Interesting stat on QB's in the playoffs

Peyton Manning, Dan Marino and Matt Hasselback are the only qb's in the top 40 to have a losing record in the playoffs...(ranked by number of wins)

Here is another interesting stat and its from the packers forum... Rodgers is the best playoff performer ever and he is 5-3....Qbs get way to much credit/blame for playoffs and they really cant do much without a great team around them when in said playoffs.

Seriously everyone should read the article.

True datttt. I love Peyton and actually feel bad for him, just found it funny that little bro has had more luck in the playoffs, which is also saddening now that I think about it.

Interesting stat on QB's in the playoffs: it's a team sport.
I no longer care about anything here except for the Entertainment Forum, which sucks; the Music forum, which sucks; and the Magic forum, which does NOT suck.

    Love y'all!

    Except for all of y'all.

Which is the most telling fact backing up team importance over QB ability.

There is some information to be gleaned from this article, not all that much though. Each circumstance needs to be examined on its own. Even the article about Rodgers falls under the same scrutiny. The quality of his weapons, the defenses he played, the offensive strategy of his coach... All of this factors contribute to his numbers.

All of this is too complex to be dumbed down to wins exclusively or stats exclusively.

Yeah, easy to not have any playoff losses when you are consistently missing the playoffs.

Funny though. Ask the majority of fans who the All-Time best QB is and they'll (rightfully) answer Joe Montana.
    Why?
Due to his 4 rings and postseason success.
    So what gives?

Bottom Line; performing well in the playoffs and on football's biggest stage matters.
    A whole bunch, IMO.
