I think the politics forum post-election has been the most tolerable/"enjoyable" since I can remember...

Seems to be very little bickering, insulting and a lot more fruitful back-and-forth.

If you believe in true "change" then we need to get back to basics because lobbying doesn't solve anything but prove that you both stand for the same thing

    good day
I find the Constitution to be and outdated 200 yr old scripture that people cling to without a question and the founding fathers to be wealthy elitist slave owners who are given godlike status for their political accomplishments.

It's seems that your ironically intended +1 about Paul went clear over my head. I apologize for the insult.

Libertarianism is the true anti-government, personal liberty, pro-Constitution philosophy.

[QUOTE=AmsterNat;25113984]First of all, congratulations on the first post of yours that I have seen where your text even remotely approaches the length of your sig. Not every issue can be dealt with in one line.

Define a difference between 'liberty' and 'freedom'. You demonstrate the point I just made in another topic - right wingers cannot accept any responsibility for the craziness of many of their positions without at the same time also blaming what they see as the 'left'.

Yes, US politics on both sides are thoroughly corrupt and undemocratic. The entire system needs to be overhauled and modernized from top to bottom. Constantly referring back to the Constitution and to the presumed intentions of the founders is more typically right wing bull, and not the way forward in the 21st century.

You are very scary. What is the way forward in the 21st century? No guns? Gulags for political dissidents? Facism/Socialism? Your vision is an absolute nightmare.

Ron Paul wanted to help but these bloodthirsty, authoritarian, barbaric democrats want mass murder and no progress.

^ Nope I'm not this futureheisman you speak of. The left wants America to break out into a Civil War. The minute somebody on the "right" stands up against this, they are going to be called a terrorist by the propoganda ministry that we have aka FOX/MSNBC.

I'm scary? My vision is a nightmare? Gulags?

I haven't expressed any vision apart from my view that the entire political system needs an overhaul. Your post makes no sense, you're clearly one of these wingnuts who has no concept of any world other than the fantasy one that you inhabit. Tell me, do you think the Tea baggers are too liberal?

Ron Paul wanted to help but these bloodthirsty, authoritarian, barbaric democrats want mass murder and no progress.
This is either a sign of madness or blatant trolling.

Once again, you fail to say anything of note. These kinds of content-less posts aren't helping advance anything.

Give us a reason why he makes sense. The statement that "Paul is one of the only ones that makes sense" is totally worthless, because it has nothing behind it. It's a toothless statement. Give me a reason.

Yeah, all the problems in this country are caused by one side.
