On This Day in NFL History.

The first Superbowl was played. There's an interesting article on this which isn't new but reguardless.

Great find. I'd love to watch the game in it's entirety. Tickets $12. Stadium not even full, and two stations covering the event because there wasn't even a bidding war. Who'd of thunk it?

Thanks Norm. Silly me not thinking to look for it there. Is there anything the internet cannot do?

Of course the Packers won. One of the greatest reigns ever (not just I and II, the whole 60's Packers reign).

It's tricky to find them. There's a guy, I can find it somehow. He had at least 30 games from pre 70s. Some really interesting stuff.

But they were all set to private.

I know. That's why it would be great if they could actually show the game in it's entirety now that they've pieced it altogether.

What's interesting is if the actual boradcast did exist as it was orginally aired, we wouldn't see all those crazy commericals that are shown in the present day bowls.
