But can we stay on topic? The thread is about Lowry, not a PG controversy.

No worries, it just gets exasperating to have every PG thread end up being the same comparison thread. Let's do something different ...

Hopefully the fourth quarter is a building block for Mr. Lowry.

i think we should atleast put him in a 6th man role. kid can score there is no question about that. maybe the answer here is to have him as a scoring punch off the bench.

I agree... this is about lowry and casey.

i said it earlier i have no problem with calderon starting. but lowry needs a bigger role because he can def help this team in various ways..

Yes, he has to get it going. He should go back to where he is very good at, scoring.

Let the others follow suit. Hopefully it can be infectious. His true nature is to rack up points and for opposing defenses to focus on him. Then just let the chips fall.

Before the season started, I was hoping that both Lowry and Val are healthy. Too bad.

Most interesting thing for me in those post-game quotes was Lowry talking about "earning points" with Casey. Indicates he was in doghouse

I think what is happening with lowry is good, Basketball is all about routine, Defense and offence sets over and over.

Lowry was always going to have to learn Caseys in-game coaching style, And then be a leader on the floor executing those set plays,
And the only way for that to happen is to watch someone who does the thing he needs to learn, He is what 23? if Jose can get us something attractive when paired with andrea, so be it,

If not then let the year play out and hope that Lowry can learn the difference between controlled aggression with a purpose and being mad,

Cause if he can't Jose as usually ain't a bad safety net,

His ankle seems very busted up, and I bet that swelled up over night. He is likely doubtful for tonight's game.

I don't think the 2 PG lineup works very well for us against most teams, and Jose has been earning the lions share of the minutes lately so I don't know if we can use Lowry as our 6th man. All we need him to do is come in when Jose needs a sub and play hard. The thing I noticed over the past few games was that he just looked passive. Not just the way he was playing, but his body language too. He just hasn't look like the same intense competitor that started the season.

Last night was the best I have seen him look in 2 weeks since the game against the Kings. He was attacking the basket and getting to the line, which resulted in him putting up 21 points in under 15 minutes!

It's not easy to switch from 30-40 mpg to 15-20 mpg though, and it must be a tough pill to swallow moving to bench after being promised "the reigns to this team" by BC in the off season when he was acquired.

This could very easily become his team either at the trade deadline or next season though if Jose doesn't resign, so I just want to see him continue to build chemistry with guys like Amir, Davis and JV (when he comes back).
