Ummm, the Rays 12th draft pick in 2012 was the 392nd pick of the draft.

    But nice try.

I would be worried about Toronto but, as slick pointed out earlier, they have the potential to be a nasty competitor or a paper tiger.

I agree Cash needs to get something done offensively but so far we still look good to at least make the playoffs.

I don't put much into that. Last year's NBA draft was supposed to be the deepest since '03 and so far no one from that class is close to reaching their potential. Another example is the '11 NFL draft. It was supposed to be weak on talent, but so far there have been some elite talents from that draft.

It's funny how when the Yanks signed him to 3/33, it was 'absurd' but when the Nats give him 3/43 ( potentially), its genius!

    Tell the whole story..

It was absurd to pay a setup man 3/33.....and it was done because Levine wasn't sure what Mo's plans were with regards to retirement at the time.....it sounded like Levine was guessing 2011 as is final year because paying an 8th inning man $10-13 million is freaking absurd! Now he looked great when Mo went down but with Mo's history not even Levine was thinking that.....

Sort of like when the Yankees could've been in on Halladay it was 'absurd' but when they used that chip to go all in on Pineda it was 'genius.'
