No doubt it's an overpay but geez, I can't stop thinking about how strong their pitching staff looks...

Decent deal for Washington. Their pitching is downright scary.
    Favourite Teams:

    Boston Red Sox: 27-17
Indianapolis Colts: Decent draft, no new wide reciever though.
Detroit Pistons: Looking forward to the draft and whoever the new coach will be
Ottawa Senators: Down 2 to 1 to Pittsburgh, Game 4 on Wednesday Night, Game 5 on Friday Night and Game 6 on Sunday Night (If necessary)

    Beautiful:

I'm just saying the League deal was better than the Soriano deal, not necessarily that it was a great deal

Ehh....that's debatable. If basing off WAR, League seems like the better deal though.

Paying over 10 million a year for a relief pitcher is always not a wise investment.

I wonder how you'd feel about League if he signed that deal with someone else. Dodgers fans don't need to try and convince fans about their terrible contracts, we're all aware.

Either way, Dodgers or Giants or Angels ETC. I like the League deal better than the Soriano deal

Why? They're both bad contracts but League has double the term and Soriano has double the talent.

Considering you seem to be a Dodger fan and the Dodgers don't seem to have a budget, wouldn't you rather see them have the better player?

This is just blind homerism. As mtf pointed out, the Dodgers seemingly have no budget. Would you take Brandon League over Soriano?
