I think that's the problem, all you guys see is points and TS. Pretty sad.

I'm not being a dick or anything here, but exactly are you seeing? Monroe scored 2 buckets and a couple offensive rebounds while STAT was on him in that 3rd quarter. Amare drew 3 fouls, grabbed a board and tipped out another while on Monroe. He rolled with him after he set the pick at the key & denied the post entry passes without giving up too much position.

What else do you want from him? You want him to lock down guards 20 feet from the hoop?

Amare is what he is, and now coming off the bench I don't mind at all.

I'll take 17 and getting 12 FT's in 20 minutes, the defense well its amareish, thats all.

I can't even get on him anymore, I've concluded he will never ever get it. such a shame for an athlete like him but you know he was never taught so you can't teach and old dog right?

I would like for a very average forward not to key a bad Pistons team to a 10 plus point run, cutting the lead to 4 points when our 100 million dollar man has play a few at Center.

The Pistons feasted in the paint as soon as Tyson went to the bench, mostly because Monroe was getting great shots at the rim and forcing us to double him every possession.

Like I said, I was glad it wasn't Aldrigde or Lee........hell JJ Hickson or any decent Power Forward out there, that 4 point lead would have been a deficit, but at lease Mare got his 17 points!!!!!!!!!!
