    But, she's got that something. Lots of woman have that something. She acted in an era of the blond bombshell and she was one of the greats.

    for her era she was the best, but she could look good in any era, but so can alot of girls.

    every era changes, in the medieval times fat girls were supposively the best, because being fat showed you were rich because you were well fed.

    no,betty grable was;but there were other big one's in the 30's and 40's like heddy lamar,ect. before monroe even hit the scene

    to the question- its because monroe because she became iconic(due to who she ****ed and dying young before age was able to take away her beauty;and first to do nude pics yet not keep her from becoming a mainstream star,before her it'd hurt,not help your career.and finally because alot of the top girl/wanna be models and actresses identified with her and her ****ed up life)
