Yeah but KD lost with HCA and Kendrick Perkins is a proven champion

Nope. Lebron's still on another level when going against Durant.
    Favourite Teams:

Boston Red Sox: 46-52, games this week vs. Blue Jays (4), Rays (3)
Indianapolis Colts: Good draft and off-season so far.
Looking for new NBA team to cheer for
Ottawa Senators: 37-31-14, season over, free agency begins this week.

I have Lebron with a slim lead over durant for best in the league. Honestly it isn't much of a lead
One of the most overused sayings on this forum

"and its not even close" When in reality it is quite close.

Melo will become the new Jordan of the league we are so lucky to have him!!!

They look pretty damn close to me only difference is Durant averages 2 more points and James averages 2 more assists. But the answer to the question will be no, IMO Durant has to be the best player for multiple years before he takes Lebrons crown away. For him to surpass Lebron I think he needs to win the MVP and Finals MVP this year, along with doing it all again next year.

How about we let him do those things 1st and then we compare the 2... Until then off then the answer is no.

and Bosh to the Heat to join Wade. That would've been awesome... I would've respected LeBron way more if he went there.
Why have great rivals when you can join them and have none.... Lebron James where losing the spirit of competition happens!

if Durant wins it its only because it's his 'turn'. LBJ is still the best in the league.

Only reason the Thunder would even win is because they have a proven winner in Kendrick Perkins.

    And vice versa.

In regards to the question he would have to beat Miami in the finals and put up some monster #'s.
