I was ranking them as the ones who've won the most championships, which could be considered as the best. It's also "best franchise" not "best run franchise."

Look, the Maple Leafs are one of the best franchises in the NHL based on their history, valued at 1 billion dollars, and the second most Stanley Cups at 13, but they're run like ****.

But yes, Detroit is the best run orginization in the NHL, just like the Spurs are the best in the NBA.

Lakers > Celtics.

Sure Boston has one more ring that then Lakers, but like 80% of those rings were won in the Russell era. Since then, they won what 4-5 championships? The Lakers won 10 since the 80s, including like multiple Finals appearances.

Also, soccer is one of the best sports in the world. Just because you don't get it, doesn't mean its not a good sport.

College soccer is OK because the field is smaller. But the full sized field is the dumbest most boring **** ever. And just because it is popular doesn't make it good.
