Pretty much assures that Jordan Schroeder makes the team. The Canucks are in a dire straight and need to acquire offense. Time to put the pedal to the metal and deal Roberto. If Lombardi can be gotten rid of by Toronto, someone has to need a defensemen like Ballard.

Mac is good, not sure I'd like to trade him for a 3rd round pick.

He'll get more at the deadline and is a decent top 6 winger.

Well Connolly could be bought out soon (maybe). You guys could get him for nothing. He put up 36 pts in a 3rd line role, i think he could put up more on a second line with a better team.

I think we will hang on to Mac until the deadline. Last deadline it was rumored we were offered a 2nd and a spec, i think Nonis might wait to see if a team gets desperate.

Connolly is not worthy of the contract his paper is written on. He's the conclusive definition of "walking injury". I wouldn't want him on this team unless he came in a waiver addition or via a walk on type role if bought out. If that is the best that the Leafs can offer for Luongo, seeya. Regardless of length of contract he's still worthy of a premium return of at least one true player. That looks to be Gardiner...I don't consider much in the other prospects the leafs have to be "premium" outside of Reilly.
