How do u guys think ike would do in left field? It would open 1st base up for flores, who can prolly hit as well if not better then ike.

Terrible idea. Ike might be slower than Duda(but with a stronger arm)

Barring injury to someone key, either Flores or Murphy is going to get traded - probably some time in 2013.

That's how they're going to solve the problem of where to fit everyone.

Yeah but it may be Murphy who gets moved.

Of course, this is my guess. For all I know they trade Ike and move Flores to 1st.

But I don't think that will be the case. I'm betting they see what Flores can do early this year, and if he continues to rake they put both him and Murphy out there on the trade market to see what they can get for either in some package.

    I said this before..

The one non outfielder that would have the easiest time learning how to play out there is David Wright.

Wright to LF, Flores to 3B.

That makes sense, depending of course on how Flores does this year in the minors.

I don't think they look to move David Wright to LF at 31 years old and when Flores is ready to come up in 2014.

Although they should think about it sooner than later because the regression rate for 3rd baseman is second fastest behind catchers.

If this is true. will someone please explain this to me?

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME????

HOW IS OUR BEST HITTING OUTFIELDER NOT WORTH PAYING $4 MILLION A YEAR FOR 2 FREAKING SEASONS???????

    WTF?????

WHO IS SANDY GOING TO GET CHEAPER WHO CAN GIVE US THE KIND OF OFFENSE HAIRSTON HAS BEEN PROVIDING FOR THE LAST TWO SEASONS?

    WTF?????

Oh yeah, and how much did the Mets want to charge me for the those upper deck right field foul pole seats again?
"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."

    Mets offered, get this:

    1 year $2M.

But there are people on this board who think next year they're going to get premier FA's.
